Ashton's Birthday!

For Ashton's 6th Birthday party we went to the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. After the movie we had cupcakes and opened gifts. They loved the whole party and I survived-uh huh!

We had a lot of fun at The Colony Farm. We went on a Hay ride through
the corn fields, watched Monsters Inc. outside, drank hot chocolate and made smores. They had built a HUGE bonfire that helped keep us warm. The Fire department was there with a small Fire truck, so the boys got to try on some Fireman hats. They were very heavy, so it was hilarious seeing them try to stay balanced. Good times!

Riley's Birthday Party!

We had a small party this year, inviting only Riley's three closest friends! (It was soo wonderful!)
For the last 2 years she's had 10-12 friends at her party. The girls had pizza, went ice skating, watched Night at the Museum 2 and slept over! They loved ice skating! It was Riley's first time, she wanted to go again the next day!

Riley had a blast at Girl Scout Camp! I came too and survived! They painted shirts, started fires and went on hikes-yipee!

Dinner with friends.

We hung out with our good friends Matt and Christa (on the right). They happen to live by Chris' Mission companion and his wife, so here we are catching up at dinner.

So, I haven't posted anything for along time, then I went home for the summer and now I have many, many pictures! We had a great time staying with my parents in Bountiful. We ate out on their awesome porch everyday and went out to eat at our favorite spots (Lorena's 3 or more times!). We watched movies, played a little scrabble, swam a ton and hung out with all of the family. We also went to fish lake with my in-laws and stayed at a cabin, but fish lake was apparently out of fish! Chris, Riley, Jeff and Katie went to Lagoon and our kids went to two bouncy gyms. We hung out with most of our friends and I was around when Jamie had her little baby Asher-yeah! Oh, I was also treated to a free facial and brow wax, thanks to my friend and former co-worker, Vanly. It was a great break and I really missed my familia! They are just a bunch of my best friends-Love and miss all of you! I guess it might be next summer that we make it back, sad! Well, there's a quick summary of our last couple of months. Now Riley is in 2nd grade and Ashton started Kindergarten. I am at home with Aiden and am kinda liking it! Aiden is just so easy to have around, it's a nice break from a house full of all the neighborhood kids!

Thanksgiving Point with Mom, Alissa and our kiddos. Our kids fed the animals and rode ponys. It was fun to hang out with my friend of many, many years! I love that our kids get along soo well!
